Police: 15-Year-Old Admits to Attempted Carjacking of Off-Duty Officer

In a recent incident, a 15-year-old boy was arrested for trying to carjack an off-duty officer at gunpoint in Uptown, Chicago. According to CWB Chicago, the incident occurred on Sunday evening, and the off-duty cop fired three shots at the offender. However, the boy managed to escape without any injury.


Investigation Reveals Confession of the 15-Year-Old Boy

After the incident, the Chicago Police Department launched an investigation and arrested the 15-year-old boy regarding the attempted carjacking. According to ABC 7 Chicago, the boy has now admitted to the attempted carjacking of the off-duty officer. The police have charged the boy with attempted vehicular hijacking and aggravated assault with a firearm.
