Andrew Kester Named Director of Continuous Improvement for Montgomery County

Montgomery County Mayor Wes Golden has announced the appointment of Andrew Kester as the new Director of Continuous Improvement for the county. Kester will be responsible for designing and overseeing the activities of the county’s performance management program in support of Mayor Golden’s top priorities and departmental strategic initiatives.

The position is new to the county and is part of Mayor Golden’s efforts to improve the county’s performance and efficiency. Kester brings a wealth of experience to the role, having previously served as the Director of Operations for a large manufacturing company.

“I am thrilled to welcome Andrew to our team,” said Mayor Golden. “His expertise in process improvement and performance management will be invaluable in helping us achieve our goals and deliver the best possible services to our citizens.”

Kester’s appointment comes as part of a broader effort by the county to modernize its operations and improve the quality of services it provides. The county has recently invested in new technology and process improvements to streamline its operations and reduce costs.
