Baltimore Man Fatally Shot in Silver Spring Parking Garage
A 21-year-old man from Baltimore was fatally shot in a public parking garage in downtown Silver Spring early Saturday morning, according to Montgomery County police (source: WTOP). The victim was identified as Kymani Elijah Bailey. The shooting occurred on the first level of the garage located at 921 Wayne Avenue at around 2:40 a.m. Officers from the Montgomery County Department of Police’s 3rd District responded to the scene immediately after receiving reports of a shooting.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward. This is the second shooting incident in a Montgomery County parking garage this year. In December 2022, a 62-year-old man was shot dead in the same garage (source: WTOP).
