Unity Gardens, a non-profit organization that supports native gardening projects in Anne Arundel County, has announced that its grant applications for the Fall 2023 cycle are now open. The organization awards grants to local communities to support planting initiatives that use the power of native plants to address issues like stormwater runoff, pollution, and habitat loss.

According to Eye On Annapolis, the deadline for submitting grant proposals is August 1, 2023. The organization will accept proposals for up to $3,000 to purchase native trees, shrubs, perennials, and grasses.
