Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is an upcoming 2022 American adventure comedy film based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game series. It is a sequel to Sonic the Hedgehog and is set to be released on November 12, 2022. The film follows Sonic and his friend’s Tails and Knuckles as they team up to stop Dr Robotnik from building a Death Egg.
Sonic the Hedgehog (voiced by Ben Schwartz) is a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who can run at supersonic speeds. He was born on Christmas Island and was raised by his Uncle Chuck after his parents disappeared. Sonic lives in Green Hill Zone and spends his days running around, playing video games, and eating chilli dogs.
Tails Prower (voiced by Ryan Reynolds) is a two-tailed fox who is Sonic’s best friend. He was born in Mobius and met Sonic when he was just eight years old. Tails is an inventor and are able to build things out of scrap metal that most people wouldn’t be able to imagine.

Tails (Miles) Prower is Sonic the Hedgehog’s best friend and sidekick, a two-tailed fox with the ability to fly by spinning his tails like helicopter blades. He often accompanies Sonic when they go on adventures together or fight against Dr Eggman and his robot minions alongside their friends Knuckles & Amy Rose.
