Killing Eve: The Series Will Meet The End With Season 4

Killing Eve is a British spy thriller television series that first premiered on BBC America and BBC iPlayer in 2018. It has been critically acclaimed for its complex, nuanced female protagonist and intricate plotting. The show takes place across Europe as the two women face off against each other and their own demons.

Killing Eve stars Sandra Oh as lead character Eve Polastri, who starts an obsessive pursuit of Villanelle (Jodie Comer), a talented Russian assassin with a fondness for artful murder which appears to be targeting her.

The first series premiered on April 8, 2018, and was immediately renewed for a second. The third season premiered on April 12, 2020, and it has been renewed for a fourth and final season set to premiere in 2022.

When Will the Final Season of Killing Eve Feature?

With so many rumors going around about when the final season of Killing Eve will feature, we thought it might be helpful to spell out exactly what we know about when fans can expect Sandra Oh and Jodie Comer’s espionage thriller.

The filming for the final season of Killing Eve began in June 2021. The show will probably feature in 2022.

The show was delayed for its products due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. But the wait will be soon over. We can expect the show to wrap the shooting this year along with production so that we can have the finale by the beginning of the New Year!

What is the Rating of Killing Eve?

The first season has a 94% score on Rotten Tomatoes with an average rating of 81 out of 100 based on 68 reviews. The site’s critical consensus reads, “Killing Eve offers up stylish highlights and whip-smart dialogue—and some terrific performances from its two leads.”

Eve and Villanelle Will Return for the Final Season

Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh will return for the final season. Jodie as Eve and Sandra as Villanelle will bring the final season, season 4. The fans are eagerly looking forward to the season as it will mark the end of Killing Eve.

The last season premiered a year ago, and there has been a lot of speculation that the final season will be aired around 2021. However, there was no official word on it until then, but all is well now as Sandra Oh revealed that they had been renewed for a fourth and final series set to premiere sometime in 2022.

The showrunner of Killing Eve, Phoebe Waller-Bridge has confirmed the return of Fiona Shaw playing the role of Carolyn, so we’d expect to see her back, along with Gemma Whelan who will be Carolyn’s daughter Geraldine.

We are not sure if Kim Bodnia will be back as Konstantin or will he drop the final season. Same for Hélène and Owen McDonnell, who played Eve’s husband, Niko. They are not confirmed yet, but we would love to see them back.

For the new faces this season, there are none confirmed yet; however Harriet Walter playing Dasha, is set to play someone important in Eve’s life after having a heart attack in season 3. We hope the show will be bringing her more often on-screen than just for one episode as her character was so interesting and complex.

What Can be Included in the 4th Season of Killing Eve?

Eve and Villanellese’ relationship will get more intense as they bridge the climax for the show. Although neither of them is innocent anymore, Eve and Villanelle have been facing to face before in self-defense with the intent to save themselves. Now they will face each other again after all this time, causing more tension between them.

Villanelle deciding that she no longer wants to continue being an assassin-for-hire and Carolyn turning down her request to work as a double agent for MI6, we will see this as the end of them both.

With Eve still wanting to find out who Villanelle really is and if she will ever see her again, we can only hope that there might be a little bit more time for their story. Perhaps they might not get their happily ever after, but we can only hope they will.

With many awards in the bag and the most loved show among viewers, Killing Eve is one of the greatest examples that we have seen in a long time, and we hope to see much more. But for now, the series will have a happy ending.
