Due to the inclement weather, the students in the Frederick County, Maryland, are expected to have up to three virtual learning days. Due to the inclement weather for the remaining annual year, the students will have to go for such! The virtual learning sessions are usually held by the teachers wherein they give live instructions and thus, the students are asked to complete their tasks independently. The schools will remain closed on the first day when it shows every year. They usually consider the possibility of an asynchronous day depending on the forecast that is offered 24-48 hours prior to that of the anticipated storm.
Virtual school days will prevent the school from adding extra sessions to the end of the year
Teachers will be made avilable on the phone or over the meeting
Of course, there lies a difference in the traditional way of attending the school and doing it digitally
School board to schedule an update
The country’s inclement weather has made it plan for receiving an update on the school board on Wednesday night. Brandon Oland, the spokesperson of the school said that it is yet to take an action on the plan. Oland said that now the schools will not have to take a decision for adding classes at the end of the academic session because of full closures due to bad weather. The State Superintendent Mohammed Choudhury approved the plan for the county in November.

Families to be notified a day prior to the expected storm regarding the asynchronous virtual learning class
County staff and families shall be notified regarding the asynchronous virtual learning day at least prior to when the storm is expected. Chromebooks will be given to the students of the elementary school and the staff members would discuss about the plans for the virtual day with the students.
