What is the release date of The Batman?
The Batman will be in US cinemas on March 4, 2022. The original release date of 25 June 2021 was moved because of delays related to the coronavirus. The movie has been delayed to October 2021 and now it is scheduled for next year on March 4, 2022.
Production in the UK is back and will resume in September 2020. The only condition is that they have to shoot on purpose-built sets instead of locations because there was a lockdown.
What is the plot of The Batman (2022)?
The Batman is set in the second year of Batman’s career according to a story on The Wrap. That means that you will not have to see another Batman origin movie, because Christopher Nolan covered this story in his movies.
In this movie, Catwoman, Penguin, and the Riddler are in it. It means we are very deep into DC Comics lore. This will be a Batman movie that has some detective work in it as well. Reeves said Batman is a thriller. He wants the movie to be emotional too.
Batman is a detective in the comics. The movies have not been like that. Batman is supposed to be the world’s best detective and he does that sometimes in the comics and it doesn’t happen in the movies. I want this story to be one where the criminal’s character changes so he has an arc.
The new Batman movie sounds very different from past movies. You can sense that it is a noir flavor in the Bat-suit testing footage.
What can we expect?
This is a Batman movie. It has been in production for a long time. Ben Affleck was going to be in it too, but now he isn’t anymore. The movie has Deathstroke as the bad guy. Ben Affleck posted this video on Twitter.
Joe Manganiello plays Deathstroke in the Justice League movie. This is what he looks like. Ben Affleck was supposed to direct The Batman, but he quit in January 2017. In early 2019, he stopped being involved with the movie.
Affleck left the movie because he had problems with alcohol. He showed someone the script for “The Batman”. They said, “I think that it is good.” When you have a tough time again, you might drink alcohol. The article also said that the Batman movie was not as good because it had to be fixed a lot.
Ben Affleck will not star in this movie. But he will play the Flash, according to Deadline. Ben Affleck is not Batman anymore in movies. Warner Brothers stopped making them with Zack Snyder. They did release his cut though.
Who will be starring in it?
Robert Pattinson will be Batman and Andy Serkis will be his butler. The movie’s villains are The Riddler, The Penguin, and Carmine Falcone. Catwoman might also be a villain.

Max and Charlie Carver are twin actors. They have been cast in the movie, too. It is unknown what roles they will play. There are many pairs of DC characters they could be playing: Tweedledee and Tweedledum are two characters from Comic stories. There is no official announcement yet.
Cast members Rupert Penry-Jones and Gil Perez-Abraham have also been cast in undisclosed roles. We are waiting for confirmation – if any is forthcoming – on their roles in the movie.
