A former Morgan State University student was found guilty of killing a security guard near the campus last year. Chase Wilson, 21, was convicted of shooting and killing 19-year-old Julian Fruh outside an apartment complex on Marble Hall Road on August 31, 2022.

According to charging documents, Fruh was shot and killed during what appeared to be a drug deal gone bad near the campus. Wilson was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, assault, and weapons offenses.
