Charles County Crime Solvers Offering $1000 Reward for Information on Assault Cases

Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information leading to the arrest of suspects involved in a series of recent assault cases. The announcement was made on May 31, 2023, in response to a recent incident where an unidentified woman was shot with a suspected airsoft or paintball gun while in the vicinity of Huntington Circle in Waldorf, Maryland.

According to the Charles County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on May 28, 2023, at around 7:13 p.m. The suspects drove by the woman and shot her, hitting her in the arms and legs. She was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

The Charles County Crime Solvers program offers rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to the arrest or indictment of a person responsible for a crime in Charles County. All individuals who provide tips through Crime Solvers will remain anonymous.

The program has been successful in the past, helping to solve numerous crimes in the county. The program is funded by donations from local businesses and individuals and is run by a volunteer board of directors.
