Breaking News: 87-Year-Old Missing Adult Barbara Ann King Found Safe and Unharmed
After being reported missing from the Reigate Grange care home in Surrey, UK, Barbara Ann King, an 87-year-old woman with dementia, has been found safe and unharmed. According to Gaithersburg Police, King was reported missing on Friday afternoon after failing to return from a doctor’s appointment. The O’Fallon, Missouri police department issued a Silver Alert and later found her safe Friday evening.
The Reigate Grange care home has admitted that King was mistreated earlier this year, and secret camera footage from inside her room showed staff handling King inappropriately. The Care Quality Commission is now reviewing the case, and the care home may face criminal action.
