Baltimore rapper identified as 28-year-old man killed in Woodlawn shooting
Judah James, a 28-year-old local Baltimore rapper known as Bandhunta Jugg, was identified as the victim of a fatal shooting that occurred in Woodlawn early Saturday morning according to the Baltimore County Police.
The Shooting
The shooting took place around 4:05 AM on December 23, 2023 in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive according to police. When officers arrived on the scene, they found five individuals who had been shot. James was pronounced dead at the scene while the four other victims were transported to local hospitals with non-life threatening injuries (WBFF Fox45).
The Victim
James, who was known by his rap moniker “Bandhunta Jugg”, was a local Baltimore artist according to multiple reports (The Baltimore Banner). He had been in the vehicle with the other victims at the time of the shooting according to CBS News. Police believe the shooting was a targeted incident but have not provided details on a possible motive or suspects at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
