Two lucky Maryland Powerball players matched all five white balls in the September 27, 2023 drawing, winning $1 million each. The winning tickets were sold at Quick Shop in Greensboro and River Hill Sunoco in Clarksville, respectively. However, the winning tickets remain unclaimed as of October 13, 2023.

The jackpot for the same drawing was $1.765 billion and had no grand prize winner. The jackpot rolled over to the next drawing on October 14, 2023, with a grand prize of $2.08 billion up for grabs.
