Samuel R. “Sam” Billups Jr., former principal of Walbrook Senior High School in Baltimore, has died at 92, according to The Baltimore Sun. Billups, a respected educator and community leader, passed away on June 28, 2023.


Billups served as principal of Walbrook Senior High School for many years and was known for his dedication to his students and the community. He mentored many and was involved in numerous organizations, including the Forest Park Little League and the Inner City Rollers bowling league.
