RBA seeks citizens’ ideas for redesigned A$5 note

The Reserve Bank of Australia (RBA) has decided to update the design of the A$5 banknote to honor the culture and history of the First Australians. This redesign comes after the decision not to feature King Charles III on the new note, moving away from the traditional depiction of monarchs.

All Australians Invited to Contribute to the New $5 Note Design

The RBA is calling on all Australians to contribute their ideas for the new $5 note design. This inclusive approach aims to gather a wide range of perspectives and suggestions to ensure that the new banknote design accurately reflects and honors the history and culture of Indigenous Australians.
