Ragnarok Season 3 Release Date Info

Currently, there is no release date for Ragnarok season 3. Judging by the COVID-related delays for season 2 – the first season released in January 2020 and the most current season debuted nearly a year and a half later – viewers likely won’t see Ragnarok season 3 until mid-to-late 2022. Hopefully, with COVID restrictions lifting somewhat, production should be able to start up fairly soon. Like its previous seasons, Ragnarok season 3 will probably have six episodes in its roster, and all main players and recurring characters should return as well.

Ragnarok Season 3 Story Details

Ragnarok season 3 will likely follow what the second season has been building up to and the event by which the show is titled: Ragnarok. Now that Laurits, or Loki, is comfortable as his own unique self – both a trickster god and a giant – he should be a valuable ally to the fight against the giants. Magne has finally forged Mjölnir and regained his powers after surrendering them to be normal.

For left the Jutuls to pursue a relationship with a human and has now returned in his father’s stead. The third season will likely include more of the serpent that Laurits birthed – diagnosed as a tapeworm that seems more a Jörmungandr incarnation, Loki’s gigantic serpent, and Thor’s archenemy of Norse mythology. Until then, we will have to wait and see if Netflix renews ragnarok for season 3.
