Local Barbershop Offers Free Haircuts To First Responders

A local barbershop in St. Mary’s County, Maryland, offers free haircuts to first responders in the area. The barbershop, owned by Brice Trossbach, has provided the service for several years to give back to the community.

Trossbach, a former volunteer firefighter, understands the sacrifices that first responders make daily. “They put their lives on the line for us, and this is just a small way for us to show our appreciation,” he said.

The free haircuts are available to police officers, firefighters, EMTs, and other first responders. Trossbach’s Barbershop is also offering discounted haircuts to military personnel.

In addition to the free haircuts, Trossbach’s Barbershop is hosting a fundraiser for the local volunteer fire department. The fundraiser will take place on July 10th, and all proceeds will go towards purchasing new equipment for the department.

Prior To Brice Trossbach’s Services

Tragically, Brice Trossbach, the owner of the local barbershop that offered free haircuts to first responders, passed away on July 5th, 2023. Trossbach was a beloved community member known for his generosity and kind spirit.

In honor of Trossbach’s memory, his barbershop continues offering free haircuts to first responders. The barbershop has also set up a memorial fund to support Trossbach’s family during this difficult time.

Trossbach’s legacy of giving back to the community will undoubtedly live on through his barbershop and the countless lives he touched.
