If you like anime, you may have heard of the series “Date A Live.” It started as a book written by Kōshi Tachibana and illustrated by Tsunako. There have been five different adaptations of the “Date A Live” story. Fans have seen it in manga, a movie, and anime. First airing in 2013, the story takes place in Eurasia. Eurasia has many earthquakes. That is dangerous. They happen when Spirits come from another world to this one. A boy, Shido, has the power to stop them by stealing their powers. However, he can only do that by kissing the Spirit. The Spirit must like him too.

A lot of people like the anime adaptation. They liked the animation, they liked what happened, they liked the comedy and they liked when Kurumi was there. One person said that “11/10 Story, 11/10 Art, 11/10 Comedy, 100/10 Kurumi”. They said this on Crunchyroll. The fans are excited to see more of Shido and his adventures with the Spirits, especially Kurumi.

What is the release date of Date a Live IV?

Back in March, it was announced that “Date A Live” is getting a fourth season. A super important announcement was made. There is also a teaser visual. Shido and Tohka are shown with the title “Tenka” on her. Once translated, the tweet said that the new season will start broadcasting this October.

Date A Live Season 4: Release Date and Everything

Though there is no word about when the show will start, people are already excited. It will likely be on Crunchyroll, where you can watch anime. Crunchyroll gives some shows that are not free. Non-members can still watch “Date a Live” seasons 1 through 3.

What is the plot of Date a Live IV?

Some people know what the plot of Season 4 is. But they cannot say. They can tell you that, based on previous seasons, at least five more light novel volumes will be adapted. The source material is about meeting NiaHonjou and MukuroHoshimiya. They are the ninth and tenth people that Shido will try to work his charms on. There will be a struggle, but it’s not clear who will win. The Kurumi Tokisaki is back and she wants Shido’s powers. She can’t get them because Shido sealed his power. Then, Shido said he wanted to tell the Spirits friends about his plans for them.

Both people who have read the manga and people who are only following the anime are probably excited to see what will happen.

Who will be starring in it?

It is too early to know who will be in the cast of the upcoming season of “Date a Live” because new characters from the light novels might be introduced. A lot of voice actors from the original show will be in the new show. This is good because people might not want to watch it if they don’t know their favorite character.
