Bladensburg Shooting: 5 People Shot on a Bridge in Maryland, Police Say

Five people were shot in Bladensburg, Maryland, on Friday afternoon while leaving a funeral, according to DC News Now. The Bladensburg Police Department said the shooting happened in the 4300 block of Bladensburg Rd. near the Anacostia River. Four people were riding in a vehicle when someone in another vehicle opened fire, according to Newsmax.com. Three victims are said to be in critical condition, officials confirmed to FOX 5 DC. Roads were closed at the intersection of Annapolis Road and Bladensburg Road in Colmar Manor while authorities investigated the scene of the shooting, Bladensburg police said, according to Fox News.

The police are still investigating the incident, and no arrests have been made yet.
