All You Need to Know About Late Actor Chadwick Boseman A.K.A Black Panther

Chadwick Boseman, Marvel’s Black Panther star died on 28 August 2020 after losing a 4-year battle with colon cancer. Unbeknownst to the majority of people, he has portrayed several roles based on the lives of real-life historical figures including Jackie Robinson, James Brown, and Thurgood Marshall.

Chadwick’s Personal Life

Chadwick was a Christian. He was baptized as well. He was a firm believer and also a part of his church choir and youth group.

The most interesting fact about him is that he claimed that he used to wish to be a part of Marvel: he prayed to play Black Panther long before he was casted by MCU.

About his love life, Chadwick got engaged to the famous singer Taylor Simone Ledward in 2019. Soon after their engagement, they got married. 

Chadwick Boseman in Marvel Movies 

Boseman had a five-picture deal with Marvel. For the first time, as a Marvel character, Black Panther, he appeared in Captain America: Civil War. Afterward, he reprises his role in Avengers: Infinity Wars,  Endgame and his lead film titled the same as his alter ego “Black Panther”. Especially, in Black Panther, T’Challa let us experience the charms of Wakanda, his home place.

Unfortunately, Chadwick couldn’t live enough to fulfill the deal that he made with Marvel. For sure, Marvel was once again planning to bring Black Panther on screen but who can defeat death!

For the remarkable performance in Black Panther, Chadwick won four awards. 

Indeed, this is a great loss for Marvel and the American film industry. We have lost a great actor and influencer; none can fill the void that the sudden demise of Chadwick has left in all of our lives. 

Chadwick’s Films Other Than Marvel

Well, there’s a lot more to Chadwick’s story than Marvel films. He has been praised for portraying the characters based on several real-life heroic figures. His famous films in which he played such characters include 42, Get on Up, Marshall, etc. 

Since 2000, Chadwick has been entertaining us with his remarkable acting skills. His latest films include 21 Bridges and Da 5 Bloods. 

Sadly, prior to his death, Chadwick has been working on a film and a TV series project. Both of the projects are yet to release. 

Reason Behind Chadwick’s Death

Unbeknownst to everyone, Chadwick has been dealing with colon cancer for four years. Yesterday, at the age of 43, he died battling with the last cancer. 

It is really heart-wrenching and terrifying at the same time that none of us was aware of his health condition. He must have been a brave man to deal with it on his own amidst appearing in different film projects throughout the last four years when he was battling cancer. 

Let’s pray that his soul rests in peace. Chadwick Boseman was truly a great and honorable hero.
