Women Reportedly Won Stuff Animal With Razor Blade At Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company Carnival

Westminster, Maryland – The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office issues warning about potential razor blades in stuffed animal given away as gifts at the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company carnival.

On July 21, a female filed a complaint with the Sheriff’s Office stating she won a stuffed animal with a razor blade in a “wiffle ball” game. The razor blade was discovered while the woman’s dog was playing with the stuffed animal.

According to the report, the razor blade was stuffed into the arm of the toy. The Sheriff’s Office questioned the Reese & Community Volunteer Fire Company about the reported incident. An official advised the Sheriff’s Office that the “wiffle ball” game was not owned by the fire company.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office is asking everyone who won a stuffed animal at the carnival at 1761 Baltimore Boulevard to examine them carefully.
