Prince George’s County Police Announce Arrest Of Suspect In Temple Hills Homicide


Prince George’s County Police announce the arrest of the suspect in a homicide that took place in Temple Hills on September 27.

Approximately 12:40 a.m., police responded to the 4000 block of Rocky Mount Drive to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers located a 20-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the body.

Homicide SuspectMedics dispatched to the scene pronounced Ibrahim Kamara of Hannah Way in Upper Marlboro deceased at the scene.

Detectives believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute with the victim and suspect who were acquaintances. Anthony Stewart, 25, of the 1700 block of Lyman Place in Northeast, D.C. was arrested and charged with first- and second-degree murder. He is being held at the Department of Corrects on a no-bond status.
