Acting U.S. Attorney Stephen M. Schenning announced Thursday a Maryland man was charged on April 26 with production of child pornography.
Twenty-one-year-old Jayron Khalil Foster of Riverdale allegedly produced images of a 7-year-old girl, depicting sexually explicit conduct between August 2016 and January 2017. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children receive tips in reference to child pornography in April. The tips were handed over to the Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children task force, according to court documents.
Police obtained a search warrant for Foster’s residence, where they recovered videos and images stored on a hard drive that depicted Foster engaging in sexually explicit conduct with the 7-year-old. He was arrested and transported to Prince George’s County.
Foster faces a maximum 30-year prison sentence if found guilty.
