Police Identify Homicide Victim, Woman Shot In West Baltimore


Baltimore police said a woman suffered a graze wound in a Tuesday night shooting in West Baltimore.

Around 11:48 p.m., a 34-year-old woman arrived at a local hospital for treatment of a graze wound to her hip. Police said they believe the incident occurred in the 1000 block of West Lafayette Avenue. No additional information on the case or the victim’s condition is available at this time.

Accident SceneOn Wednesday, police identified a 31-year-old man who had been fatally shot on Friday. The incident took place in the 3200 block of West Baltimore Street in Carroll-South Hilton. Christopher Hockaday lived about a block away from where the incident took place.

Police did not release any sort of motive for the killing.
