Owner Of Elite Strategies Pleads Guilty To Tax Evasion


Acting U.S. Attorney William E. Fitzpatrick announced on Monday that the owner of Elite Strategies LLC, a political consulting and fundraising company, has pleaded guilty to tax evasion.

Judge And JuryThirty-five-year-old Linda O. Jumah of Newark, New Jersey, intentionally under-reported income for tax year 2015. She filed a fraudulent personal income tax return, failing to report $121,941, resulting in a tax loss of $39,633, according to court documents.

Jumah faxes a maximum 5-year prison term and a $250,000 fine. Her sentencing hearing is scheduled for February 14, 2018.

Jumah was arrested and later released on $75,000 unsecured bond.
