Man Fatally Shot In Baltimore’s Northern District, Police Identify 3 Unrelated Homicide Victims


Baltimore Police are investigating a fatal shooting that took place in the Northern District just after midnight.

Approximately 12:30 a.m. Monday, police were dispatched to the 3300 block of Westerwald Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. Upon arrival, the responding officers found a 24-year-old man who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

ArrestPreliminary investigation revealed the victim was in the block when two masked men with guns approached, him announced a robbery and shot him.

Police have identified the victim in a September 30 homicide that took place in the 2900 block of Harview Avenue as Bernard Mackey, 52, of the 2900 block of Harview Avenue.

The victim in an October 1st homicide that took place in the 4900 block of Crenshaw Avenue has been identified as Devante Wright-Felder, 24, of the 6600 block of Frederick Road.

The victim in an October 1st homicide in the 3900 block of Norfolk Avenue was identified as 18-year-old Larry Brown.
