Howard County Police: Woman Shot With BB Gun In Laurel


Howard County police said a woman walking her dog was shot with a BB gun in Laurel Wednesday afternoon.

Around 1:26 p.m., police responded to report of a shooting with a BB gun in the area of Glendower Court and Horsham Drive. At the scene, the responding officers located a woman who said she was walking her dog when a man emerged from a wooded area and brandished a BB gun. The man shot the woman before fleeing the area, police said.

Violent Weekend In Baltimore

Police canvased the area and located a man who matched the description provided by the victim. The suspect was identified as 35-year-old Ryan Richard Morris of Glendower Court in Laurel.

Morris was charged with reckless endangerment, destruction of property and assault.
