Howard County Police said a truck overturned on Route 32 early Sunday morning.
Approximately 1:52 a.m., police were dispatched to Route 32, where a 1995 Dodge truck had struck a light pole, guardrail and sign before overturning. The truck was traveling westbound on Route 32 in the area of Route 1, when it exited the roadway, according to the news release.
The driver, identified as 30-year-old Nicholas Alan Taylor of Beltsville was listed in stable condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center. Police have not filed charges as of yet.
The preliminary investigation revealed that the accident might be related to alcohol and speed. Route 32 westbound between Dorsey Run Road and Route 1 reopened after nearly two and a half hours.
