Homer Logistics To Lay Off 284 Employees In New York
Homer Logistics filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the New York Department of labor on January 2. The notice indicates the company will lay off 284 employees in April.
Homer Logistics was established in 2014, offering delivery service to local businesses and their customers.
The layoff will affect workers at the company’s Greenwich Street, Madison Avenue and West 45th Street sites. The affected workers have not bumping rights and are scheduled to separate from the company on April 2, according to the filing.
