Harford County Sheriff’s Office Investigating Non-Fatal Stabbing In Edgewood

Harford County Sheriff’s Office said a man was stabbed in Edgewood Saturday.

Approximately 8:45 p.m., deputies were dispatched to the 1700 block of Meadowood Court to investigate a reported stabbing. At the scene, the responding deputies began canvasing the area for a victim and crime scene. No crime scene or victim was located, according to the news release.

A short time later, deputies found the victim, 24-year-old Marquis Bernard Gaskins of Edgewood in the 600 block of Longwood Court. The man suffered “stab wounds to the upper body.” Medics transported Gaskins to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment. He was released right before midnight.

The crime scene was eventually located in the area of the 1700 block of Meadowood Court. No further information is available at this time.
