Dura-Bond Industries filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry earlier this month. The notice indicates that the company will lay off approximately 180 employees at its Steelton facility in Dauphin County.
Dura-Bond Industries provides corrosion protection services for manufacturers of steel products. The company founded in 1960 opened its first coating plant in Export in 1965 and two satellite facilities in High Point, North Carolina, Jacksonville, Florida and Buffalo, New York.
The layoffs are scheduled for November 15, according to the WARN filing.
