Deluxe Building Systems To Lay Off 154 Employees In Pennsylvania


Deluxe Building Systems, Inc. filed a Workers Adjustment and Retraining Notification with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry earlier this month. The notice indicates the company will close its Berwick facility at 499 West 3rd Street.

Business Closing

Deluxe is a private company that provides building solutions in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast regions of the United States and Caribbean. Its portfolio includes student housing, apartments and condominiums. Don Meske founded Deluxe in 1965.

The 154 employees impacted by the closure are expected to separate from the company on December 29, according to the filing.
