D.C. Attorney Pleads Guilty To Distributing Child Pornography

U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente announced Friday a Washington, D.C. attorney pleaded guilty to distributing videos of child sexual abuse.

Thirty-five-year-old Jason Mark Sims replied to a Craigslist ad posted by an undercover FBI agent. Sims discussed meeting the agent’s 10-year-old daughter, so he could sexually abuse. Eventually, Sims declined the meeting, but he still provided the agent with links to videos of girls as young as 4 being sexually abused, according to court documents.

Sims faces a maximum of 20 years imprisonment. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for December 1.
