CTI America Announces Plans To Open New Circuit Board Facility In Maryland


CTI America Corp., a division of Canada-based Circuit Tech Inc., announces plans to open a new manufacturing facility in Maryland on Tuesday.

CTI is currently working with the Maryland Department of Commerce to finalize a location for the new $10 million facility. The company is planning a fall 2018 opening. Circuit Tech previously invited Governor Larry Hogan to tour its Markham, Ontario manufacturing plant. Hogan, along with Washington Mayor Muriel Bowser and Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe toured the facility Tuesday.

CTI America Corp.“CTI America’s new facility and the 80 new jobs it brings to our state underscores our administration’s commitment to making Maryland the ideal U.S. destination for global companies,” Hogan said in a statement.

CTI designs and produces printed circuit boards for the aerospace, defense, space, telecommunication, industrial network and medical equipment markets.

The company expects to create at least 80 jobs at its new facility, making it eligible for the state’s job creation tax credit.
