Crisfield Police Identify Victim Shot 14 Times At Apartment Complex


Crisfield Police is investigating a shooting that took place in an apartment parking lot.

On Friday, police responded to the apartment complex to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the officers located a 25-year-old man who had been shot about 14 times lying next to a vehicle in the parking lot.

A gun, money and drugs were found at the scene next to the man’s body, according to the news release. The man was later identified as Mark Laquan Smith of Salisbury.

No further details were immediately available.
