Baltimore Police Investigating The Fatal Shooting Of A 24-Year-Old In The Central District


Baltimore Police said a man was fatally shot in the Central District Monday morning.

Approximately 8:24 a.m., police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Myrtle Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers found a 24-year-old man who had been shot in the head.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.
