Baltimore Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In The Southeast District, Victim Identified In Unrelated Shooting

Baltimore Police say a man was fatally shot in the chest early Friday morning in the Southeast District.

Approximately 6:55 a.m., police were dispatched to the 3400 block of Noble Street to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers located a man who has not been identified suffering from a multiple gunshot wounds to the chest.

Medics arriving to the scene transported the victim to Johns Hopkins Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed two unknown suspects approached the victim and opened fire. The s fled the scene “east towards Conkling Street.” Detectives believe the suspects got into a gray four-door vehicle on Conkling Street.

In reference to the shooting that took place at 200 Park Avenue Tuesday, the victim has been identified as 40-year-old Levar Bailey of the 200 block of Park Avenue.
