Harford County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of a suspect in connection with a fatal heroin overdose that took place in Edgewood on October 17.
Approximately 3 p.m. Thursday, Harford County Task Force detectives were conducting surveillance on a Baltimore man who was identified in an investigation as the dealer in a fatal overdose.
Task Force observed the suspect conduct several drug transactions near the intersection of Bowley’s Lane and Sinclair Lane in Baltimore. The detectives converged and arrested the suspect who has been identified as 24-year-old Khalil Sadiq Shaheed of Baltimore.
A search warrant of Shaheed’s residence and vehicle recovered a loaded .25 caliber handgun, 9 mm Sig Saur handgun, various calibers of ammunition, 76 grams of cocaine, 67 grams of heroin, 24 grams of crack cocaine, controlled dangerous substance paraphernalia and $12,000 in cash.
Shaheed was charged with two counts of possession not marijuana, two counts possession of a firearm in relation to a drug trafficking crime, two counts possession with intent to distribute narcotics, one count of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of illegal possession of ammunition by a prohibited person.
