Baltimore County Police Identify Juvenile Suspects Of Carjacking Spree

Baltimore County, Maryland – Just before 1:00 p.m. on April 26, 2018, Baltimore County Police were called to the parking lot of Campfield Elementary School located in the 6800-block of Alter Street, 21207 for a carjacking incident. Police learned that a teacher of the school was approached by multiple suspects, one of which threatened her with a knife. The suspects stole her 2012 Toyota Rav 4 and fled the area.

William CunninghamThe suspects then drove the stolen SUV and approached another victim in the 7300-block of Campfield Road, 21208. The suspects threatened the victim with a knife, grabbed the victim and stole property from the man. At 1:40 p.m., police received a call for another carjacking in the 4000-block of Old Court Road, 21208. The Old Court Road victim told police that she was inside her 2016 Honda Fit when two suspects came up to her car. One of the suspects threatened her with a knife, stole her property and the Honda. The suspects then fled the area with the victim’s Honda.

A few minutes later, the suspects approached two victims walking on Esperanza Court and Rosland Court, 21208. The suspects threatened the victims with a knife and stole property from the victims. Shortly afterwards, Baltimore County Police detectives were in the area of the Old Court Metro Station in the 4300-block of Old Court Road, 21208, and saw the stolen Honda. Detectives also saw the suspects and were able to quickly place both under arrest.

The suspects have been identified as Terrell Maleek Jett, 16, of the 1400-block of Mountmor Court, 21217 and William Jhem Cunningham, 16, of the 800-block of Brooks Lane, 21217. The suspects have been charged with two counts of armed carjacking, two counts of carjacking, four counts of armed robbery, four counts of robbery, and various theft charges. Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections.
