Baltimore County Police activated a new speed camera on Monday at the corner of Providence Road and Southwick Drive. The camera is located directly across from the Cromwell Valley Elementary School.
Motorists who are caught exceeding the speed limit by at last 12 miles per hour will receive warnings for the first 30 days. After the 30-day trial period ends, motorists will receive citations for violating the maximum speed limit.
In compliance with Maryland State law, Baltimore County’s speed cameras operate Monday through Friday between the hours of 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., including weekends and summer months when school is not in session.
