A New Specialty Shop Opening In Federal Hill, Maryland

Federal Hill is a small, quaint neighborhood in Baltimore. Just south of the central business district, Federal Hill provides workers and locals an escape from the chaotic city atmosphere. The newly renovated Cross Street Market is the primary social hub of the community, serving hundreds of residents weekly. Many music enthusiasts frequent Federal Hill on a weekly basis, just to get a glimpse of their favorite local band and solo artist live and in action.

LaQuicha Brown, owner of Berries by Quicha, is excited to announce a second location in Federal Hill. The shop offers an array of custom chocolate covered strawberries, with delicious fillings that will make the taste buds tingle. The first location, 5625 O’Donnell Street at the Best Western Plus Hotel & Conference Center, began operation in 2014.

The East Baltimore shop walk-in hours are Thursday through Saturday, with Tuesday and Wednesday set aside for call-ahead orders. The new location, the former storefront of Hannah Nails & Spa, accepts walk-in and call-ahead orders six days a week.

Brown told Baltimore Sun that she hopes to have the new location open by November 19, her birthday, but everything will depend on the permit approval from the city.
