50-Year-Old Fatally Shot In Baltimore’s Northwest District, Victims Identified In Unrelated Shootings


Baltimore Police say a 50-year-old was fatally shot in the Northwest District Tuesday night.

Approximately 11:30 p.m., police responded to the 3800 block of Oakford Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the officers found a 50-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body.

The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, according to the report.

Detectives have identified the victim in the 3400 block of Noble Street shooting as Preston Nichols, 34, of the 100 block of Main Street. The incident occurred on Friday.

In reference to the fatal shooting that took place on Tuesday in the 1800 block of Wilhelm Street, the victim has been identified as John Stevenson, 34, of the 1800 blcok of Wilhelm Street.
