5 People Found To Have Ties With $300K Victoria’s Secret Heist In Maryland

Pennsylvania officials have charged five Baltimoreans in connection to a $300,000 theft, involving the Victoria’s Secret stores in the Berkshire Mall and Lebanon Valley Mall in Pennsylvania.

James Griffin, 24, of Randallstown, along with four other people allegedly stole lingerie from both Victoria Secret stores on May 19.

According to court records, the suspects stuffed merchandise estimated at $3,700 in plastic trash bags. The clerks were unable to anything, but look on because the suspect threatened them with pepper spray. A motor vehicle crash involving the suspect’s vehicle led to the suspects’ arrest, police said.

A preliminary hearing is scheduled for all 5 suspects on July 27.

Police said they believe the suspects stole merchandise from other Victoria’s Secret stores up and down the East Coast.
