44-Year-Old Man Dead After Shooting In Baltimore


Baltimore Police say a 44-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday night in the Western District.

Approximately 9:50 p.m., police responded to the 1800 block of Edmondson Avenue to investigate a reported shooting. At the scene, the responding officers found an adult male suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper body.

Medics dispatched to the scene transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced deceased.

Detectives urge anyone with information regarding the crime to call 410-396-2100 or Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP.

Around 2:04 a.m. Sunday morning, police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Lafayette to investigate a discharging. Upon arrival, the responding officers located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper body.

Medics pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
