3 Men Charged In Connection With Killings Of Two Maryland Teens


On Thursday, a grand jury indicted three men on murder charges in the deaths of two Northwest High School seniors. Police discovered the bodies of the slain teens in a car on the night before their high school graduation.

Roger Garcia, Jose Canales-Yanez and Edgar Garcia-Goana were indicted on robbery, weapon and murder charges in a Montgomery County Circuit Court. The three men were initially charged on June 17 with conspiracy and murder. They have been held in jail without bond.

The victims, Shadi Majjar, 17 and Artem Ziberov, 18, were seniors at Northwest High School in Baltimore. According to court records, the teens had driven to a location to buy a commencement ticket. Instead of meeting with a seller, they were met by three men who fired over 30 rounds at them.
