Stone’s Cove Kitbar In Bel Air Shuttered Its Doors Thursday

Six months after its parent company filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy, Stone’s Cove Kitbar has closed its doors. The restaurant opened April 2016 at the Bell Air Town Center location.

After just over a year in business, Stone’s Cove at 588 Baltimore Pike closed its doors for the last time on Thursday.

“This decision was made by our President this morning,” the restaurant posted on its Facebook page Thursday. “Unfortunately, business has not been what we hoped for here and he has decided to fund his money elsewhere. We are all upset, shocked, and heartbroken from the news as our whole team found out suddenly a few hours ago.”

Cove Kitbar initially planned to remain open, even after its parent company filed bankruptcy in January.

Stone’s Cove provided its patrons with an interactive dining experience, as they could watch their foods being prepared fresh by “ChefTenders.”
