Prince George’s County Police Investigating Fatal Shooting In Lanham, Victim Identified

Prince George’s County Police said a fatal shooting in Lanham Friday morning.

Around 9:15 a.m., police responded to a welfare check in the 7000 block of Palamar Turn in Lanham. At the scene, the responding officers found the victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds lying on a footpath. Police said the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

After and investigation, police identified the victim as Troy Foster, 24, of Valley Terrace in Southeast D.C. The suspect has not been located and a $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and an indictment.
