Police: Three People Wounded In Overnight Shootings Across Baltimore

At least three people were shot in two separate attacks in the city overnight, Baltimore Police said.

Police responded to a call at the 900 block of Patapsco Avenue around 12:20 a.m. Saturday. Upon arrival they discovered a 20-year-old man who had been shot in the left foot. He was transported to a nearby hospital and has been listed in stable condition.

 

Violent Weekend In BaltimoreThe victim told the detectives that he was leaving the convenient store at the intersection of Patapsco Avenue and St. Victor Street, when he heard several gunshots. After taking off running, the victim said he felt intense pain in his left foot. He could not identify the shooter, police said.

Around 2:30 a.m. Saturday, police was called to the 1900 block of East Lafayette Avenue in the Broadway East neighborhood. When police arrived at the scene, they found two shooting victims. A 25-year-old woman had been shot in her right leg and 22-year-old man was suffering from a gunshot would to the left foot, police said. Both shooting victims were transported to nearby hospitals for treatment.

The victims told detectives that they were sitting outside on steps, when they were shot. An unknown assailant started shooting without giving prior warning, police said.
