U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente for the Eastern District of Virginia announced Wednesday that a Norfolk man pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography.
Forty-nine-year-old Alfredo Martinez shared images of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct online. A search warrant of Martinez’s house recovered innumerable electronic devices, including three computers, external hard drives and a mobile phone that contained explicit material of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. Law enforcement arrested Martinez during the search, according to court documents.
If guilty, Martinez faces a maximum 20-year imprisonment. His sentencing hearing is scheduled for November 21.
