Howard County Police Make Arrest In Three Commercial Robberies

Howard County Police announce an arrest in three separate robberies. In all three cases, the suspect brought merchandise to counter. When the clerk opened the cash register, the suspect stole cash and immediately fled the scene.

The first robbery took place at a 7-Eleven in the 5700 block of Columbia Road around 11:11 p.m. August 2.

The second robbery took place at an Exxon in the 7500 block of Montpelier Road around 12:14 a.m. August 3.

The third robbery took place at a 7-Eleven in the 9600 block of Washington Boulevard around 2:20 a.m. August 3.

The suspect was identified 39-year-old Arvell Daron Caldwell of no fixed address was arrested and charged with three counts of robbery and theft. Caldwell is currently in custody in Virginia, police said.
